Since 2004 Wil has discovered
another medium: Mosaics. It started out with recycling old plates etc. and
incorporating these into works of art. Now Wil uses mostly small mosaic
tiles, stained glass, paua shells from New Zealand and occasionally still
some old crockery.
Lienke, our youngest daughter, was the spark for this activity. She completed
already nice works: a beautiful table and a nice wall-tile at the occasion
of Kirsti's and Mike's wedding.
All of Atlin dumps their old plates and shards of crockery on our doorstep!

The summer of 2007 saw Wil participating in an wildly successfull Artist's Cooperative "Courthouse Gallery" .
A carver, a potter, four painters, a photographer, three jewellers, one mosaic artist, and one quilter joined forces to run the gallery on a daily basis throughout the summer.
